Promoting ethical conduct and human rights across our operations and supply chains.
1. Policy Statement
Thrivewell Elaglobal Services is dedicated to operating ethically and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms across our business and supply chain. We oppose all forms of forced labour, servitude, bonded labour, and child labour. This policy supports the principles of recognised international standards and applicable laws.
2. Our Commitment
- We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced or compulsory labour, and the exploitation of children.
- We will comply with relevant legislation and international standards and update our practices as best practice evolves.
- We expect employees, suppliers, contractors, and partners to share our commitment and to act ethically and lawfully.
3. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All employees, volunteers, officers, and directors of Thrivewell Elaglobal Services.
- All suppliers, subcontractors, agents, and business partners engaged to provide goods or services.
- All operations and projects, whether local or international.
4. Risk Assessment & Due Diligence
We take a risk-based approach to identify and assess where modern slavery risks may arise. Key measures include:
- Supplier and contractor screening with anti-slavery clauses.
- Due diligence that considers geography and the nature of goods or services.
- Supplier reviews and corrective actions where non-compliance is identified.
5. Employment Practices
- All employment is freely chosen, and employees may leave with reasonable notice.
- No retention of employees' identity documents or deposits is allowed.
- We comply with applicable wage, working hours, and benefits laws.
6. Training & Awareness
We provide staff with guidance to recognise and report signs of modern slavery. Awareness materials are reviewed regularly to ensure effectiveness.
7. Reporting & Investigations
Employees, contractors, and suppliers are encouraged to report concerns confidentially and without retaliation. Concerns can be raised by emailing info@thrivewellelaglobal.org or contacting management directly.
8. Monitoring & Review
Management is responsible for ensuring compliance and reviewing this policy annually or as required by law or operational changes.
9. Supplier Expectations
We expect suppliers and partners to maintain high ethical standards and implement their own anti-slavery policies. We may request compliance evidence and conduct audits if necessary.
10. Consequences of Breach
Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action or contract termination. Serious violations may be referred to authorities.
11. Leadership Statement
Thrivewell Elaglobal Services is committed to continuous improvement in identifying and addressing modern slavery risks. We expect all partners and employees to uphold this standard.
